Mugabe now he’s a bad guy…

The Bush administration claims they go after bad guys that have an impact on global stability and security. Mugabe is basically saying “screw you” to the entire world and while Amnesty is screaming from the top of their lungs that a gross injustice is being perpetrated the rest of us are reading about the Aruban justice system and the Russian President “stealing” a ring he was “given”. Talk about making up news when there is plenty of it around.

I know Bush doesn’t read anything other than the Ann Coulter and the National Enquirer. Both explain the reasoning behind he’s obsession with the liberal elite and he’s lack of knowledge about the situation in Zimbabwe. I can see Rice in the President’s daily briefing struggling to explain what “eviction” means. I can’t imagine it’s a word the President has heard very often.

You know, Mochi, I can't help but wonder where liberals come up with their ideas that every Republican president who has served is "dumb" while the Democrats are enlightened or intelligent. Its this same elitist thought that is causing many Democrats to underestimate their opponents and lose badly. I think this is part of the reason the Democrats are losing so much ground.

If the Democrats could overcome a bit of their arrogance, become a party of ideas (as opposed to reactions) maybe they can turn around, but with it's current leadership and sentiment, it may be a long time.

P.S. Don't you think that GW laughs every time he hears a reference to his intellect? After all he's in charge and has managed to stay there for two terms. (And, I might add, been able to get his way on just about every major Administrative initiative). Maybe if one would stop making assumptions about what he does and doesn't know, they would come up with a way to defeat him.

Mochi, I thought I would leave this link with you. This is what the left is up against, and until some coherent analysis can be articulated by the left, they will be perceived more and more by the majority of Americans as kooks with little to no credibility. As this is from the arch-enemy of all liberals, Rush Limbaugh, I doubt any of it will be read, but if neo-libs could, they would learn a thing or two! :)

See, I Told You So: Democrats Can't Stand Bush Speech, Still Act As If 9/11 Didn't Happen

He's the one that said he doesn't read newspapers. Frankly though the guy is a retard and I'd put the people that voted for him in the same bucket.

Mochi, you read the reports about John Kerry's IQ and grades--all evidence points to him being less intelligent than Bush. Does that make you a retard for voting for him?

Did we watch the same debates?

I never understand people who actually think that George Bush makes any decision having to do with how this country is run. Here is a man who finishes his education and gets by in life based on who his dad is, after being a failed oilman, becoming owner of the Texas Rangers because of his name and that that organization was trying to grow and build a new stadium. You think this assclown knows how to run an economic empire like the United States without being told what to do every step of the way? I will give the people that Kerry probably did not accomplish a whole hell of a lot as a senator; he did miss a ton of votes in 03-04 as well, which doesnt help. But, I always wanted people to describe what Bush had done with himself before being coached into politics; no one ever could. What had he done as a failed businessman and a figurehead on the Texas Rangers' board of executives? What did he do as Texas governor? What did he do as president from 2000-2004? And since he loves bringing it up so much as if he acted like a man on that day, what did he do on 9/11, other than a great job of acting like a chickenhawk (as well as during Vietnam but we will not travel that route anymore)? Anyone can act tough- in front a tv camera while theyre wearing makeup, or by putting on a pilot suit. I did wear my grandfather's fireman helmet before, felt pretty cool but very quickly remembered I was no hero or firefighter...
It is horrible that most of the world knows what a bunch of pussies Bush and friends are, and half of the people in this country do not. Would you want to be in war and have this man (or Cheney or Wolfowitz) fighting alongside you? Personally, I do not like Kerry much either, but I cannot see him betraying his own as much as W (see McCain-R, Az. 2000 primary). My mom actually also worked with Kerry a few years back (and I bet my mom is cooler than your wife Wolnosc... just kidding!) and she would not lie to me: definitely of the upper upper class, but he was a nice guy and, here is where the main difference lies, earned what he had strived to achieve- and that he was indeed highly intelligent. Im sick and fucking tired of the argument, "oh W's just not articulate." Well, to those people I always say 'fuck you' in a subliminable misunderestimated manner, of course. Part of the human intellect is being able to articulate yourself effectively without a pre-written speech by your dad's friends or scripted press conferences. When did it become acceptable to be in the public eye, the leader of the free world, and not be able to answer a simple fucking question without a wiseass richboy smirk or stumbling over yourself? Yes, maybe deep down Bush has some modicum of intelligence, but the bottom line is this man has never revealed it, or applied himself to anything in life other than people bringing him into their circles because of Daddy/his last name. When this bitch talks about the war, blatantly lies to the people about how it really is, acts like that country isnt headed toward ruin, and makes that goofy little smirk, I thank God that we only have to deal with his horror show of an administration for 3 more years. No, not every Republican is dumb, absolutely not; I do think they are dumb in that they do not sack up and just admit how bad George Bush (or his dad's friends, whatever you want to call it) fucks up when he fucks up. We are starting to see more of it in recent months I think, who knows how this may play out though. Either way, his White House would make for great reality TV.

Wolnsc! I'm impressed. Ian Smith is a personal friend of my father's (and myself).

I have even a more pressing question. What is the U.S. going to do about the U.N. soldiers and thier rape and pillage in Africa?

CH, I am probably one of Bush's greatest critics, but I'm also fair when fair is needed.

I don't understand how a person could be called dumb who won so many consecutive terms in office--and had a great deal of respect in his home state in both parties. Seems like every time a Republican president is elected the media and everyone left just jumps in there and calls them "dumb". He's the most powerful man on earth (at least figuratively) right now, and he's dumb? Maybe thats the reason Democrats lost to him.
