Ted Haggard saves John Kerry and...

Democrats win the house and tie the senate. That's my prediction and the last thing I will say until after Tuesday.

will prob win the house but slightly. i think senate will be 51 republicans, 47 democrats and 2 independents- who might as well be democrats. thats a good balance.

Right on, Mochi! You were very close--closer than me. I was figuring Allen would pull it off, but it looks like he lost.

This will make for some interesting political times!

I was way off.

Massachusetts should be well on its way back to Dukakisism with Deval Patrick as governor. First things first, he will have to do some things for all the special interest groups he is forever indebted to. And then maybe he will do something to fix the Big Dig and the Turnpike Authority. And how come no one ever discusses the MBTA? Hands down the most corrupt organization in MA, and prob the country and has been for as long as I can remember. And their board just approved hiking up fares again. How does an organization that has thousands and thousands of people using its transportation system every single day of the year find itself 8.1 billion dollars in debt? Nothing to do with corruption or highway robbery Im sure (Im looking at you Jackie Gallaghue, who never met a bag of cocaine he didnt like- true story. Seriously I know this for a fact: I'm friends with his son's baby's momma- another true story). Im going to have to write Howie Carr and have him get back on that one. He already has blown the whistle enough on the Big Dig and Pike Authority.

Kerry Healey, nice job spending 11 million dollars that wasnt yours. Your husband must be thrilled with you. You handed Deval the election.

Grace Ross, you were kind enough to talk to my brother one Friday evening while you were on the streets of Boston campaigning. And he was blackout drunk (true story, but he does remember some bits and pieces).

Long live Christy Mihos, the greatest gubernatorial candidate MA will have ever seen. The best person never wins. It always has to be a D or and R. Same with Kinky Friedman for TX.
