Booyakasha

I really won't have much to complain about until Lieberman starts supporting Republican Iraq policy and the Democrats get the blame for not moving things forward.

It really is nice to know that Americans are taking notice of how screwed up the GOP has become. It's also nice to be able to count on Bush's stupidity. I'm not sure that the Dems would have had the same result if Rumsfeld was booted last week.

Hi Mochi!

Glad you're preparing yourself for no change and Democrat failure.

You're right, though, Republicans got what they deserved!

I would completely agree with the article- the idea that Lieberman will stay with the Democrats. Let's face it, Lieberman never turned his back on the Democrats- yes, his unwavering support for the war has certainly not been with the Democrats, but he has been a pillar of the left forever. He was, of course, the VP candidate in 2000 and everything on his voting record is with the Democrats- everything.

He wasnt the only Democrat to vote for the war, and he is not the only Democrat who has continued to support it. Hilary doesnt strike me as opposed to the war, just the way it was orchestrated. I could be wrong, but that is my observation.

Given the amount of money that has been wasted, and lost, in this war, and that not enough progress has been made- if any- yeah, I am not thrilled. But I respect a person's right to stand up for what they believe in and not turn their back on what they believed in. But sometimes I do wonder if Lieberman is concerned about the security of the US more than another little nation in the middle east that some people want to wipe off the map.
